I posted a piece recently pointing out that breath testing machines across the country are being scrutinized because they’re unreliable — the breath test results are just not accurate. The New York Times and Star Tribune have published articles on how these machines put people in jail based on bad science. In fact, the Star Tribune pointed out that Minnesota’s breath testing machine was found unreliable way back in 2012.
The City Pages picked up the story, and ran an excellent piece today, including an interview with me. You should read it to see how your government is wasting your tax dollars, denying 35,000 people a year due process, and violating their civil rights.
